NANCY DREW SHADOW AT THE WATERS EDGE PORTRAIT PUZZLE SERIES

This is definitely the easily Nancy Drew game in the series and you really get the feel for Japanese culture. Although I will say almost all the Nancy Drew games are awesome. If you like suspense, some scary moments, and lots of interesting stories, this is the Nancy Drew game for you. The characters I will say do not like to give information so easily, especially Miwako. The game is unique, like how they brought the game all the way to Japan. This is one of the scariest games with Nancy Drew so far, going along with "The Curse of Blackmoor Manor". Shadow at the Water's Edge was my first Nancy Drew game I played and it was the best of all I have played. This game is my favorite because I loved everything about it such as the graphics, story, puzzles, soundtrack, and characters.

The ending was so abrupt and unexpected! Also love the history in the game and in real life This should be on the top! My sister and I played this, and we both LOVED it! We had so many 'second chances' and it was very fun. HER never quite executed another game as well as they did this one. Introduction to a franchise reocurring character, multiple settings, involved mysteries. Multiple mysteries, plenty of charachter interaction, most people were genuinely suspects throughout, inventory puzzle to gameplay puzzle ratio was spot on and just the right amount of challenging. Perfect balance of everything in this game. The story is engaging, all the characters are great, the puzzles are fun, and also.the Hardy Boys! This game had a perfect balance of everything. This game was almost #1 for me, but another game had just a tad bit more. So much detail, you will never get bored of exploring. The puzzles were so clever and the setting is amazing. Complex, shocking, and long enough to satisfy even the most insatiable sleuths. The plot is thorough, the puzzles are challenging, and even though it all takes place in one location, it feels HUGE. If you're a fan of other Nancy Drew games and you haven't tried this one, do yourself a favor and experience The Curse of Blackmoor Manor!Įven though it's not my own personal favorite, I have to admit that it is the best one they ever made. And it's just the perfect Nancy Drew game for fans of puzzles, creepy stories, and mysteries. There are lots of puzzles that are difficult but rewarding.

The characters are full of.well character. It has an intriguing story and some twists to keep you guessing. Didn't care for the dang bird though lol. Skull and Bones was a fun game, and I enjoyed going down in the manor towards the forge. I loved the dark, spooky elements, even though seeing the hooded figure walking down the hall and the creepy music that came afterwards almost made me pee myself. I love the design elements they put into this game, that manor was beautiful.even if it looked like it was designed by a medieval monkey lol.
